Aliantie Acties voor Zichtbaarheid (Alliance Action for Visibility)

Together with seven other organizations, Amsterdam Museum is part of the Alliance for Visibility and Representation of All Amsterdammers (2024-2025), subsidized by the municipality of Amsterdam. The objectives of this alliance include: (1) Providing equal space to new and not yet established voices and names belonging to groups that are underrepresented, (2) Making role models visible that as many Amsterdammers as possible can identify with, (3) Sharing positive stories about (underrepresented) groups and minorities in Amsterdam and showcasing histories so that these groups are visible and feel represented. Alliance Actions for Visibility is a collaboration between Amsterdam Museum, Here to Support, Pan Asian Collective, 1ouderpunt, Mejah Foundation, S.P.E.A.K., Art1, and Publieke Omroep Amsterdam.
