This day may end earlier than 3pm.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: These are the making days. The children get to work with the artists. Together they create a work of art. These days last from10:00 to 15:00.
Friday: On Friday morning, we finish the artwork. After lunch, we will conclude the week festively at the location in your district. Parents/carers are also welcome to attend! We would love to show you the artwork then too.

About ELJA Kindermuseumlab
In the period 2023-2025, Amsterdam children (9-12 years old) will have the chance to help think about the city museum of the future. What will it look like? And what does the ultimate museum for and by children look like? By participating in the Amsterdam Museumkamp, collaborating on artworks, putting together exhibitions, and installing a children's sounding board group and children's director, Amsterdam children will help build their own children's museum.
They help open the eyes of the public and staff and make the museum the place for children. But above all, making and looking at art provides opportunities for the children to reflect on themselves, their environment and the world.
