Rosanne van Ballegooijen is a junior researcher and recent graduate of the Literary Studies research master at the University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses primarily on (post)colonial intersections with children’s literature, shown in her recently published article 'Hopes, Dreams and Wishes (2021) in the sixth edition of the Amsterdam Museum Journal. Furthermore, she wrote her dissertation on identities in (post)colonial Surinamese children’s literature and hopes to continue exploring (children’s) literature in international, academic spheres.
