Fashion Statements

From the 18th of April until the 8th of September 2029, Amsterdam Museum presented ‘Fashion Statements’, an exbition about fashion and identity; then and now. In the exhibition over 75 historic costumes were shown that were used by their wearers to express themselves or make a statement. Six contemporary designers, including Karim Adduchi, Marga Weimans and Bas Kosters, take a contemporary look at the 75 masterpieces from the costume collection of the Amsterdam Museum.
