Benedetta Bronzini earned her MA in German Studies from the University of Florence and Humboldt University of Berlin, followed by a PhD in Germanic and Comparative Studies jointly from Florence and the University of Bonn, where her dissertation examined the interview as both performance and historical document. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia focused on the figure of heroes in contemporary European theatre, she took roles as adjunct professor teaching at SSML Carlo Bo (IULM) and delivering courses on Digital Theatre in the Master DHIALOGUE programme at Florence and Modena e Reggio Emilia. She is currently a Junior Research Fellow at the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Bronzini’s research centres on digital and site‑specific performance, social theatre, and European identity in contemporary dramaturgies.
