On June 21 - the longest day of the year - we will celebrate Amsterdam's 750th birthday on 15 kilometers of a car-free Ring A10. It will be a truly Amsterdam party, with music, sports, dance, art, food and drinks and much more. The Amsterdam Museum will be there! At Zone West, near the s105, we will be part of ‘Creative on the Ring’ with ode recitals and workshops. More information about the programme will follow soon.

Amsterdam Museum relay
On the Ring, the Amsterdam Museum connects two Amsterdam 750 projects, Women of Amsterdam - an ode and Refresh Amsterdam #3: Imagine the Future. One project will hand over the relay baton to the next.
As a visitor, you are invited to join our big workshop table. Fill out our Mokums Vriendinnenboekje as an ode to a woman who is important to you or work together with a creator of Refresh Amsterdam #3 on an assignment about the future of the city. In addition, the big stage will host recitals by well-known and unknown ode-makers in different time slots, putting Amsterdam women in the spotlight.
About Festival on the Ring
The A10, the place where thousands of cars race across every day, that is traversed daily by thousands of Amsterdam residents. On their way to work, to school, to wherever and back home again. For one day, it is the place where Amsterdammers come together to celebrate 750 years of Amsterdam. To have fun, with old friends and new acquaintances, to experience special things and make new memories. For one day it is not ‘inside the ring’, not ‘outside the ring’, but 'On the Ring.
