On June 13, 14 and 15, a series of canal gardens will open their doors to the public. For anyone curious about the greenery hidden behind canal houses, the annual Open Garden Days are the time to go on a voyage of discovery. The Willet-Holthuysen House is one of the starting addresses, will you come and take a look too?

If you have a ticket for the Open Garden Days, you can visit the entire house with a 50% discount on the day itself. Practical information
Tickets
- Tickets for the Open Garden Days 2025 can be ordered through the online presale in the webshop of Museum Van Loon until June 12 for €22,50 (excl. service charges).
- During the Open Garden Days tickets are available at one of the starting addresses (including The Willet-Holthuysen House) at the door or via the Museum Van Loon webshop for €25,00 (excl. service charges).
- Children up to 12 years of age admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. With a city card with a green dot, a visit to the Open Garden Days is free this year. On presentation of your city pass at the ticket counter of Museum Van Loon, you will receive a free passe-partout.

Important notices
- Children up to 12 years of age admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
- The Willet Holthuysen-House can be visited with 50% discount upon presentation of a Open Garden Days ticket.
- Due to the vulnerability of the houses and gardens, dogs, baby carriages, backpacks and wheeled suitcases are not allowed. Accompanied by any of these attributes, you will be denied access to the gardens. We recommend that you bring only a small (hand) bag.
- Due to sidewalks and stairs, the gardens are unfortunately not accessible to wheelchair users.
- Due to the vulnerability of some gardens it may happen that a garden is temporarily full and no new visitors are allowed in. You will have to wait outside. It is advisable to visit another garden first and return at a later time.
- The Open Garden Days passe-partout will be given to you at one of the starting addresses. This passe-partout is your entrance to the gardens and you should carry it with you at all times. The passe-partout contains all the addresses with a short description of the gardens. These addresses will not be published in advance.
- Your passe-partout is valid for 3 days, each garden can be visited once (except the garden of Museum Van Loon).
