Ode to Janny en Lien Brilleslijper | Resistance fighters

Sisters Janny and Lien Brilleslijper, Pia Media

Two incredibly brave sisters, who fought and celebrated freedom within limits.
They were able to save an incredible number of people by giving them shelter in ‘t Hooge Nest.
They continued to enjoy music to make the unhappiness of war and its cruelty somewhat
bearable. Their love for each other and the people around them, was great. It helped
them bear what cannot be comprehended and survive.

1912– 2003
