Dear Anna,
I know few women who have been as courageous as you. You showed me that caring for others and loving are not sacrifices that keep you from your own path but are themselves an important part. That the journey is more important than the goal and that meaning in life always exists in relation to other people.

She deserves an ode because she took such good care of her mother and her family, through two world wars and a crisis, and did so largely as a widow. She was super opinionated while at the same time being considerate of everyone and having a great sense of humor. She showed me that you have to and can go your own way even if you want to be there for others
