Expressing thoughts and emotions, expressions on paper, has passed to billions of women throughout history. We know nothing but of anonymous balking, worrying, wishing and feeding. Making dust and turning to dust. Maybe Saskia could tell jokes really well.

About

Ode to Saskia van Uylenburgh by Erika Kuijpers

Every year on 9 March at 8.30 in the morning, a ray of sunlight falls on Saskia van Uylenburgh's grave in the Oude Kerk. In cooperation with the Amsterdam Museum, people could write odes to Saskia and other Amsterdam women who mean something to them during the Saskia breakfast.
