Our website uses cookies. Cookies are intended to make internet use easier. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer or other device (such as a smart phone) during your visit to a website. Information is stored in this text file. On a subsequent visit, the website can read this information that has been stored.

We have installed functional cookies on the platform that are necessary for the proper technical working of the platform, to be able to perform the services you have requested and for various operational functions. We also use analytical cookies in order to optimise platform use. These cookies have a minimal impact on the privacy of our website visitors. We use Google Analytics for these. We have configured Google Analytics according to the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority Handleiding Privacyvriendelijk instellen Google Analytics (PDF, available in Dutch only) to ensure a minimum invasion of privacy. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google for this and have chosen to mask the last octet of the IP address. Moreover, the ‘share details’ option is disabled, Google is not permitted to use the analytics obtained for other Google services, and we do not make any use ourselves of other Google services in combination with Google Analytics.

We do not place any tracking cookies ourselves. Tracking cookies are cookies that can track visitors as they surf on other websites. However, as we want to provide the opportunity to share information via social media, we have installed plug-ins from social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. These social media do make use of tracking cookies. Social media plug-in cookies are cookies that make it possible for a social media user to share web pages (or parts thereof) with that social media network. By placing cookies on a user's PC or other devices and reading information from them, plug-ins on the platform websites enable the user to share pages via a social media network. The plug-ins work via a code provided by the social media network itself. Among other things, this code installs a cookie. Also see the privacy statement of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to see what they do with the personal details they process using this code. Sometimes film clips may be placed via the YouTube platform. YouTube also uses tracking cookies. For more information, see the privacy statement of YouTube (part of Google).

You can choose to refuse certain cookies, or to delete them later. See the instructions for this under ‘settings’ on your browser and/or use the Help function.
