Open House on the Amstel
On Saturday 11 June, the exhibitions of the three(!) museums at Amstel 51 can be visited free of charge. Museum of the Mind l Outsider Art, Dutch Heritage Amsterdam (Hermitage Amsterdam) and the Amsterdam Museum will jointly be organising an open house. Visit all the exhibitions and join various activities free of charge.

What is there to see?
You can enjoy the focus exhibition Dutch Heritage Amsterdam with Vincent van Gogh's The Yellow House (The Street) in the spotlight, the exhibition along came your eyes with new works by Neo Matloga (winner of the ABN AMRO Art Prize), drop in at the Museum of the Mind and rediscover the city of Amsterdam in the new collection presentation of the Amsterdam Museum: Panorama Amsterdam and three temporary exhibitions in the Amsterdam Museum wing.
Program
During the open house, there will be various activities in which you can participate free of charge! Meet artists such as Raquel van Haver and Bilal Chahal, join guided tours of the Amsterdam Museum and the Museum of the Mind, take part in an embroidery workshop developed by Tess van Zalinge or attend a lecture by American historian and journalist Russell Shorto. Children and families can enjoy the Amsterdam Museum's children's programme – the Time-travel guide – all day long, as well as a VR-experience.

Lezing Russell Shorto en Q&A Margriet Schavemaker
